New Delhi: The third list of candidates for the upcoming assembly elections in the state of Bihar was released by the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday and the list comprises of another 11 candidates of the party. With this announcement by the central election committee of the party, BJP has come up with 153 names out of the total of 160, who are going to contest for the 243 assembly seats in the state. The remainder of 83 seats in the assembly will be contested by the allies of BJP, including the Rashtriya Lok Samata Party, the Lok Janshakti Party and the Hindustani Awam Morcha.
The first and second lists have already been declared by the party on September 15 and 19 respectively, with 43 names in the first and 99 in the second. The elections will be conducted in five phases, beginning on October 12 and ending on November 5. The counting of the votes will be held in November 8.
