Bhubaneswar: The second merit list of junior colleges across Odisha has been declared by the department of higher education today. It will apply to the students seeking for admission into the streams of arts, science and commerce.
The cut-off mark at the prestigious Ravenshaw junior college for the science stream stands at 90.33%. BJB comes next with 90%, followed by Basic Science with 86%, Fakir Mohan College with 85.33% and closely behind is Khalikotte with 85.50%.
In case of students who want to pursue education in commerce stream, with 79.5%, BJB college in the State capital stands at 79.5%, making it the most sought after institute. The next to follow in the list is Ravenshaw with a cut off of 74.50%, followed by Gangadhar Meher college with 65.33%, Ramadevi (61.17%), Khalikotte college (64.67%), Vikram Dev college (57%) and Samant Chandrasekhar college (50.17%).
The cut off marks for arts stream for BJB is 70% while Fakir Mohan stands at 70.03% and Ramadevi College is at 65.83.
The Ravenshaw junior college has a cut off at 67.67% for the arts stream is 67.67% and SCS College has it at 63.17%, Vikram Dev College at 62% and Khalikote College at 60%. The admissions in all the streams would start from July 15.
